Know More About E-liquid

11th March 2013

An article was published in Lancashire Evening Post unfolding the difference between an electronic cigarette and the e-liquid inside it. This article was in response to the proposed EU regulations that seek to put restrictions on electronic cigarettes.

It is important for vapers to learn more about e-liquid when ready to purchase an e-cigarette. Note that electronic cigarettes are usually available in metal or plastic with key electric components that are completely devoid of e-liquid. Therefore, it becomes imperative to use the e-liquid that contains the right ingredients in correct quantities, should be free of any contaminants and perfectly fit for the purpose.

A high quality e-liquid contains Pharma-grade Propylene Glycol (PG) and/or Vegetable Glycerine (VG) Natural and/or Artificial Flavouring and Pharma-grade Nicotine (optional). PG and VG are basically used to form the base of e-liquid. To reduce nicotine content or make the liquid more susceptible to vaporisation, distilled water is often added to e-liquid by the makers.

The substances you buy to flavour your foods are also used for flavouring e-liquid. American Blend, Chocolate, Coffee, Apple, Cherry, Menthol, Pure Virginia, Cola, Gold & Silver, Tobacco and Vanilla are the popular flavours available in e-liquid. You can buy the e-liquid flavour of your choice and enjoy vaping.
